Duties of the Village Treasurer
The Treasurer is the Chief Fiscal Officer of the Village of Brockport and is responsible for maintaining custody of all Village funds and keeping accounts of all Village receipts and expenditures. In addition, the Treasurer serves as the Budget Officer, Purchasing Agent and Grants Administrator.

Annual Financial Report
The Village Treasurer has filed the annual financial report update document (AUD) for the Village of Brockport for the fiscal year ended 05/31/12, with the Office of the New York State Comptroller, the Village’s external auditors, the Village Board and Village Clerk. This report can be viewed at Village Hall during regular business hours or view the AUD here.

Notice of Tentative Budget Filing & Public Hearing
On March 20th, the Mayor of the Village of Brockport filed with the Village Clerk the Tentative Budget for the fiscal year beginning June 1, 2012. It and the Treasurer’s presentation of March 27th are available for review below or at Village Hall during normal business hours. The Trustees will recommend amendments to the Mayor’s tentative budget and the Village Board will meet at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 10 at the Brockport Central School District’s A.D. Oliver Middle School Auditorium, 40 Allen Street in Brockport for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning June 1, 2012.

The report is posted here and may be examined at Village Hall by any citizen during regular business hours.
Adoption of 2009-2010 Budget
The Village of Brockport Board of Trustees at a meeting held April 29, 2009 adopted the Final Budget for the Village of Brockport for the fiscal year June 1, 2009 – May 31, 2010. The tax rate is $10.58 per thousand taxable valuation.
