Police Department
Part Time School Traffic Guard
- Minimum 21 years of age
- US Citizen
- No criminal arrest record
- Good physical condition
- Possess and maintain valid NYS Drivers License
- Minimum High School
- Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulations relative to pedestrian safety
- Ability to direct and route vehicle traffic
- Willingness to assume responsibility for the safe conduct of school children crossing intersections
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work primarily Monday through Friday during the school year (September through June) 7:00am to 9:00am and/or 2:00pm to 4:00pm or as deemed appropriate by Police Chief.
