BISCO Donates Flag for Historic Village Flag Pole:

Through the generosity of a donation from BISCO, the Village of Brockport received a replacement American flag for the flagpole in front of 140 Park Avenue, home of Park Place Apartments. The flag, raised by DPW crewmember Bruce Hovey with assistance from DPW Superintendent Harry Donahue, will fly atop the storied Moore-Shafer Shoe Company flagpole, a designated historic landmark by the Village Historic Preservation Board.

Mayor Mort Wexler commented, “The Village is extremely fortunate to have the community involvement, support and dedication
that BISCO provides.”
