BROCKPORT MAYOR SWEARS IN NEW TRUSTEE
October 27, 2009

On Tuesday, October 27, 2009, Mayor M. Connie Castaneda called family and friends of Mr. Christopher R. Martin of Coleman Creek Road in the Village together as she administered the oath of office for Trustee and Deputy Mayor of the Village. Over forty people attended the brief ceremony to share in the occasion. Martin will replace Kelly A. Smith who submitted her resignation from the post for personal reasons earlier this month.

The Mayor was pleased to announce her selection to the rest of the Board and the Department Heads on Friday, October 23, 2009, and wishes Ms. Smith well at the same time. She referred to Martin's many years of community service as she welcomed him to the Board of Trustees. The Mayor hopes to move forward with the business of the people as she maintains a full Board with this appointment.
