Town/Gown Tree-Planting Effort Benefits Village Neighborhood:
Local community group members planting a tree along Monroe Ave.

Seventeen community, SUNY Brockport and Brockport Central School District groups joined Mayor Mort Wexler, the Village Board of Trustees, Tree Board members, Brockport DPW staff and SUNY Brockport President John Halstead at Brockport's 2006 Arbor Day Tree Planting on Monroe Avenue and Utica Street. Pictured are some groups in action, planting trees and giving back to the local community.

The Village wishes to extend a special thanks to Margay Blackman and the Tree Board for coordinating this event.
