Varrenti will be hosting a meeting on January 4 at 6:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. at the Oliver Middle School, in the LGI Room, to discuss the influx of home invasion robberies in our village and throughout the county. Additionally, the Chief will be speaking about various investigative techniques, and public policy initiatives, that can be implemented to combat drug houses in the village. Please rake leaves to the curb and leave them on the lawn area between the street and sidewalk, do not put leaves in the street or gutter as it hinders the drainage system resulting in flooding during rainfall events. As well as being against the village code 45-18. If you want to or need to bag your leaves, only put leaves in biodegradable bags. We will not pick up leaves left at the curb in plastic bags. Do not mix sticks or stones in with the leaves as they will plug and damage our equipment used to pickup your leaves.
