Canal Embankment Update 6/13/19
Contractors for the Canal Corporation have almost completed seeding of all slopes in the Brockport area. They are currently working on regrading the trail and expect to be on site next Monday 6/17 to begin stone dust placement. They will start on site 36 @ Route 19 and head west to site 29 in Holley.
At that point the crew may return to Site 37 @ Fayette Street and place the stone dust east through sites 37 & 38. They are almost done with the rebuilding/grading of site 39 (near Sweden Walker Road), this will be stone dusted last after the stump pile is gone.
As long as the weather doesn’t affect the arrival of the stone dust crew, Brockport trails should be almost back to normal by the end of next week. Here’s hoping for dry weather!
