When a need is perceived, the Walk! Bike! Brockport! Action Group engages in fund-raising activities to support a variety of projects that are designed to enhance the enjoyment that hikers, bikers and boaters can experience in and around Brockport. Trail Building
The Trails Development Committee of Walk/Bike Brockport has been busy establishing a hiking trail along the perimeter of Sweden Town Park located just off Redman Road. This trail, which will be approximately two miles long, will be available for a wide variety of other outdoor sports including, but not limited to, walking, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. The Committee will be planning some workdays for the Spring and Summer of 2010, where volunteers will help in beautifying the trail by raking leaves, moving rocks and logs and other work that's deemed necessary.
